Ustad Ghulam Rasool

Ghulam Rasool has worked a horizontal loom for thirty-one years, and learned it from his father, who learned it in Bokhara before partition. He works in wool on a cotton warp, at densities between 240 and 320 knots per square inch, and signs nothing — the selvedge finish is how the trade recognises his pieces.
